Transparent methacrylate plate cast 3mm - 20x30cm. it is the most transparent plastic (93%). resistant to weather, inclement weather and ultraviolet rays. thermal and acoustic insulation. very light, weighing half than glass. great hardness, similar to aluminum. it is easily scratched but it is also easily repaired with a polishing paste. flexible: it can be handled cold, without bending, or hot (+80ºc) to bend it. does not resist some chemical products, such as: ethyl acetate, acetone, acetic acid, sulfuric acid and amyl alcohol. may be drilled, sanded, split or cut using mechanical tools.
